Blog – Pre Adventure    

Winter has arrived in Brisbane, so it’s time to head north for another adventure!

So am all packed up and feeling a bit excited about what is ahead!

First to Russia – fly out of Brisbane at 2:00 am Saturday 28 and arrive in Moscow just before midnight.  I will be met by someone from the Russian Cycle Touring Club - here's their website   http://www.rctc.ru/gring.html    The 2014 Adventure Tour itinerary is on their website.  I am hoping to have some wifi access along the way to post some blogs, but can’t be sure of that.

After cycling around for 12 days we arrive back in Moscow, which we then quickly leave behind for another 6 days riding towards St Petersburg.

Happily there will be some transporting in/out of Moscow and into St Petersburg as their city roads are rather scary, as I am sure you have all see on YouTube J

The second part of this adventure will be on my own.  Flying to Oslo and then train up to Trondheim, where Maggie and me will head off to the east towards Sweden, riding through the wild forests and rivers of Norway and Sweden to Örebro. 

Can’t believe it’s just around the corner!
