Where are the blue skies and the warm sunshine? Probably still over in New Zealand around Clyde to Queenstown.....
Its always hard to get over a holiday and realise that life is quickly returning to normal.
So I was chillaxing and checking my trip photos and listening to all that rain. It was time for a coffee - but when I looked out the kitchen door - OK here was Norman Creek, up and flooding again.
Norman Creek runs along down the back of the yard and usually its just a nice green shady spot, no sign of any creek.

Norman Creek on a dry, sunny day | |
But after a bit of rain, it springs into life and becomes quite spectacular rather quickly.
Its about 1m below the bank here, but spreads out on the other side |
Hmmm.... think that is now less than a metre from the bank... |

The neighbours cars looking over a lake - most unusual |
Zoomed in to see a wave break happening further out |
Hmmm - I haven't see it so close to the table before |
Of course, it fades away as soon as the rain eases off - which is just as well!
OK no worries, rain has eased! |

Neighbours had moved their cards, but the grass has reappeared so all good! |
